How to create a deck for MTG Arena?
Our deck builder is specifically optimized for Magic: The Gathering Arena. Here is how to use it:
- Search for cards: The database is restricted to cards available in the game. Search by name or open advanced filters.
- Choose your format: Filter by Standard, Alchemy, Explorer, Historic, Timeless, or Brawl to ensure your deck is legal.
- Add cards: Click on a card to add it to the Main Deck. Use the "S" button for the Sideboard, or "C" for your Commander/Companion.
Manage your Collection and Wildcards
It is often frustrating to start a deck without knowing if you have enough Wildcards left to craft it. That's why we integrated a Manual Collection Tracker.
- Add your cards normally to the list.
- Under each card (except basic lands), you will see a counter showing cards owned vs. required.
- Use the [ + ] and [ - ] buttons to indicate how many copies you already own on your MTG Arena account.
- The global Wildcard counter will update in real-time to show only the missing cards needed to craft!
Importing the deck into Magic Arena
Step 1: Click the orange "Export (MTGA)" button at the top right. The exact deck code will be copied to your clipboard.
Step 2: Launch MTG Arena and navigate to the Decks tab.
Step 3: Click the Import button at the bottom of the screen. Your new deck will appear immediately!

Do I need to link my Arena account to see my collection?
No. The tool is 100% secure and web-based. It requires no installation of third-party trackers or connection to your Wizards account. You manage your owned quantities manually for total privacy.
Are my decks saved?
Yes, your current deck is automatically saved in your device's browser. You can close the page and return later to continue building.
